What it’s like to stay at Mma Dinare Camp in the Okavango Delta
Mma Dinare means ‘Mother Buffalo’ and is the newest camp to come into the Under One Botswana Sky portfolio, which also includes the iconic Okavango Delta destinations of Moremi Crossing, Pom Pom Camp, Gunn’s Camp, as well as Chobe Bush Lodge, Chobe Safari Lodge, Nata Lodge and Mma Dinare’s brother camp, Rra Dinare.

The two newly-constructed lodges share the spacious 272 km2 Dinare concession in the Okavango Delta and both boast a 100-per cent eco-friendly development, featuring the latest in solar and waste technology.
An intimate, relaxed camp, Mma Dinare comprises just eight tents that all share a jaw-dropping communal deck, outdoor firepit and dining area with views that make the most of abundant Gomoti River that flows right past. Parades of elephant are regular visitors to these scenic floodplains, as are Red Lechwe and, of course, enormous buffalo herds.

Bordering the open plains of the Moremi Game Reserve, a stay at Mma Dinare means guests can expect plenty of wonderful wildlife sightings. Predators, such as jackal, leopard and prides of lion are regularly spotted and the Dinare concession is a known hotspot for seeing African Wild Dogs.
