Chobe Bush Lodge is located just behind Chobe Safari Lodge right on the doorstep of the famous Chobe National Park. This is where four diverse African countries converge, Botswana, Namibia, Zimbabwe and Zambia, which makes the town of Kasane an excellent gateway to Chobe, Victoria Falls or the Caprivi.
The lodge consists of 38 spacious luxury en-suite rooms, featuring an open plan bathroom with bath and shower, air-conditioning, TV and safe and tastefully furnished in modern-bush style design. Families can be accommodated in one of 4 large exclusive family rooms which consist of two separate bedrooms, each with its own en-suite facilities. Rooms on the ground floor offer verandas as the perfect place of relaxation – top rooms are provided with balconies and have exquisite views over the Chobe National Park. Personal Thoughts on Chobe Bush Lodge
In many ways, Chobe Bush Lodge is very much the same lodge as Chobe Safari Lodge. Same owners, and the lodge is located just behind Chobe Safari Lodge which occupies the river frontage of the property. Chobe Safari Lodge is the superior of the options due to its recent renovation (2025/26), but Chobe Bush Lodge is still a very decent option in the Chobe area. The rooms are large and comfortable, you get access to Chobe Safari Lodge restaurants and the Sedudu Bar overlooking the river, and all activities are the same as they are in Chobe Safari Lodge. I’ve always wondered why the owners separated the two lodges, as every time I’ve visited, it all appears to work as one lodge. Whatever the case, they are excellent people and they must have had their reasons. Other thing I really love about Chobe Bush Lodge and Chobe Safari Lodge are the managing couple Di and James who are just wonderful. They go well out of their way to ensure each guest has the most amazing experience.
