This lodge is located within the Chobe National Park, approximately 30 minutes drive from Kasane. This is a five star lodge and is a very comfortable option for visitors to the Chobe area. It is a large lodge and can accommodate approximately 90 people, but with large areas and sprawling spaces, it is also relatively intimate.
There are four superior suites overlooking the river.
The lodge has a number of communal areas including four dining locations, swimming pools, six viewing decks, and two bars.
Wildlife in and around the lodge is fantastic, especially for elephant lovers.

Personal Thoughts on Chobe Game Lodge
Chobe Game Lodge is a great option for luxury travellers wanting to visit Chobe and even Victoria Falls. It was built in the early 70s right inside Chobe National Park itself, and right on the riverfront, which gives guests a real head start each morning before the countless day tripping tourists arrive into the park. It’s owned by Chobe Holdings Limited, with Desert & Delta running it day to day. What sets it apart for me is the genuine innovation that they follow and incorporate. They were the first in the region to go fully solar-electric for both their safari boats and game-drive vehicles, so you get silent, low-impact wildlife encounters that most other lodges simply can’t match. The all-female guiding team is another nice point of difference, and one that’s earned them attention. There’s also a bit of Hollywood history for those who enjoy trivia: Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton remarried here in 1975. For luxury clients specifically wanting to include Chobe as a Botswana destination, this is a very recommendable option.
