Chobe Marina Lodge sits directly on the Chobe River in Kasane, in the far north-eastern corner of Botswana where the borders of Botswana, Zambia, Zimbabwe and Namibia converge. The lodge is just 5 minutes from Kasane International Airport, with Victoria Falls only 70km away and the Chobe National Park, Kasane Forest Reserve and the Zambezi River all close by.
The lodge offers 66 rooms across three categories, 30 Nare Standard Suites, 30 Tlou Luxury Suites and 6 Puku Honeymoon Suites, all with king or twin beds, en-suite bathrooms, air conditioning, ceiling fans and tea and coffee facilities. Dining options include Commissioner’s, a riverside venue for gourmet evenings, and the more casual Mokoros Family Restaurant, alongside a large swimming pool, poolside bar and an on-site wellness spa.
The Chobe River is renowned for having some of the best boat-based game viewing in the world, with large elephant herds, buffalo, hippo and crocodile regularly seen along the water’s edge, complemented by excellent game drives into the neighbouring Chobe National Park.
Activities include open-vehicle game drives in Chobe National Park, river cruises on the Chobe, fishing on the Chobe and Zambezi Rivers, day trips into Namibia, and excursions to Victoria Falls. The lodge is open year-round.
