Ghoha Hills Savuti Lodge is set in the hills to the east of the Savuti Channel within Chobe National Park, overlooking a great expanse of golden savannah and a nearby waterhole. The lodge lies roughly 150km southwest of Kasane and 230km northeast of Maun, in one of Botswana’s most storied wildlife regions.
Accommodation comprises 11 luxurious tented rooms, including 9 twin/super king rooms and 2 family rooms, each with a small seating area, a private veranda and a modern en-suite bathroom. The thatched main area overlooks an active waterhole and includes an open dining area, bar and several small lounges, along with a swimming pool, gym and spa treatments. The lodge runs entirely on solar power.
The Savuti area is renowned for its dramatic seasonal shifts and long history of elephant migration, with the Savuti Channel drawing large herds of elephant, buffalo and plains game, along with strong lion and hyena populations that make this one of the best predator-viewing areas in Botswana.
Professionally trained guides and trackers lead daily game drives, with early morning and late morning departures on offer, alongside guided bush walks through the surrounding wilderness. The lodge is open year-round.
