Jackalberry Chobe is a boutique tented lodge perched on the banks of the Chobe River in Kasane, on a quiet stretch below the Chobe rapids. Set in a natural bushveld environment close to the Chobe National Park entrance, the lodge offers an intimate riverside base for exploring one of Africa’s most game-rich national parks.
The lodge comprises 16 luxury tents across three room types, river view, partial river view and bushveld view, accommodating up to 32 guests. Each spacious en-suite king-size tent has a private balcony, air conditioning and eco-friendly bathroom amenities. Guest facilities include a buffet restaurant, al fresco dining area, bar, lounge and a scenic swimming pool overlooking the river.
Chobe National Park is famed for having one of Africa’s largest elephant populations, alongside large buffalo herds, lion, leopard and abundant plains game and birdlife along the Chobe riverfront. Morning and afternoon game drives run directly into the park, and boat cruises on the Chobe River offer a different perspective on the wildlife gathering at the water’s edge.
Activities include game drives, boat cruises, and day trips to Victoria Falls and Livingstone across the border in Zambia. The lodge is close to Kasane town and Kasane Airport, making it an easy add-on at the start or end of a Botswana safari.
