Owned and operated by Wilderness Safaris, Little Makololo is one of the few camps found at the heart of the Hwange national Park. The camp is a typical Wilderness Safaris camp and has lavish facilities and comfortable designs. It is not one of their premier camps, but it is tastefully decorated and is an excellent choice for anyone who wants to visit Hwange. There is a wonderful shaded area at the heart of the camp as well as a raised viewing platform for watching over the waterhole. This is a great place to enjoy a Gin and Tonic while watching elephants’ bath in the sunset hours of the afternoon.
The camp has 6 large rooms all with ensuite facilities.
The area surrounding the lodge is a hotspot of wildlife activity and lions, leopard, cheetah and wild dogs are all regularly seen close to camp.
