This stunning camp is located relatively close to Vumbura Plains within the northern reaches of the Okavango and is a part of the Wilderness Safaris portfolio. This is probably our favourite Wilderness Lodge. Well, it’s either LV or Kwetsani. Its a tough call
The camp can only be reached by boat, year round as it is located on a small island. However, land based activities make up a lot of the experience central to this stunning lodge.
The camp has 6 exquisitely decorated rooms, each with a private viewing deck overlooking the channel surrounding the lodge.

Personal Thoughts on Little Vumbura
Little Vumbura is my favourite of all the Wilderness Safaris camps, by far. There’s nothing else that quite matches it. Being boat-access only, on 148,000 acres of private wilderness bordering Moremi, gives it a real sense of remoteness that a lot of camps talk about but don’t actually deliver. Just six tents shaded under old trees, mokoro rides through the floodplains, 4×4 drives into the woodlands, and consistently strong sightings of sable antelope, buffalo, leopard, lion and wild dog.
The community lease arrangement adds to it too — it’s not just a beautiful camp, it’s one doing right by the land it sits on.
