Founded by Beks Ndlovu, Nyamatusi Camp is the flagship offering by African Bush Camps in the Mana Pool areas. Located on the banks of the Zambezi, this delightful lodge is focused on incredible eco designs that fully embrace sustainability while integrating luxurious comforts into the safari experience. It’s an elegant and an exclusive option that is ideal for families as well as romantic getaways.
The lodge offer six large luxury suites with wide river views. Each of the suites is tastefully decorated and has air conditioning as well as a private viewing deck. The plunge pools located on the private decks are iconic and fit into the sustainable and lavish decor superbly.
The camp is also located within a section of miombo woodland, which means that there is a healthy population of wild dog, lion, leopard, and even cheetah in the area.
Keep in mind that the camp is seasonal and only open from April to November owing to the swelling of the Zambezi River during the interim months. However, this seasonality means that animals in the area are wilder. Because they see fewer humans, they tend to allow them to get closer. This gives the lodge a very exclusive feel and adds to overall safari experience considerably.
