Lunch with an elephant view at Rhino Safari Camp

Located on the shores of Lake Kariba, on the north western edge of the Matusadona National Park, Rhino Safaris Camp is a quiet and secluded safari option that combines comfort and a relaxed safari atmosphere in a stylish way. Despite the name of the lodge, rhinos are seldom seen anywhere in the park owing to rampant poaching in the 90s of both white and black rhinos. However, the area holds potential, and with an increased focus on wildlife protection in the area, there is a potential for conservation projects to bring rhino back to the area. That said, a number of other keystone species are widely found in the park including elephant and lion.

The lodge consists of seven double room chalets built on raised platforms, all with beautiful views over the lake.  The raised viewing platforms that jut out from the chalets are the perfect place to view game as animals often meander through the camp.
