Sandibe Okavango Safari Lodge sits in a remote wilderness area of the south-eastern Okavango Delta, on the Santandadibe River system along the southern border of the Moremi Game Reserve. The lodge holds exclusive traversing rights over 270 square kilometres of varied terrain, spanning woodland savanna, evergreen riverine forest, floodplain grasslands, palm savanna and lagoon, giving guests access to five distinct wilderness habitats.
Accommodation comprises 12 raised luxury suites designed to echo the woven nests of golden weaver birds, each offering sweeping Delta views, a private plunge pool and an outdoor fireplace. The architecture blends organic, nature-inspired design with understated luxury, immersing guests in the surrounding riverine forest.
The diversity of habitats around Sandibe supports year-round game viewing, with strong sightings of leopard, lion, wild dog and a wide variety of plains game, alongside excellent birdlife across the floodplains and lagoons. The blend of dry land and permanent water means both terrestrial and aquatic activities are possible for much of the year.
Activities include game drives, guided walks, and mokoro or motorboat excursions when water levels allow, letting guests experience both the drama of the dry woodlands and the tranquillity of the Delta’s waterways.
