Selinda Explorers is what was created by the Joubert’s when they saw the levels of etravagance at Selinda and Zarafa going way out of control – at least in my opinion. Selinda Explorers sits in the same concession as Selinda and Zarafa, so you get the same level of wildlife, but without the oppulence. It still is pretty oppulent, but nothing compared. The Joubert’s have taken on the Explorer vibe here. There is no wifi, and the point is to feel as though you are deep in the bush without the excessive creature comforts you’ll find in their premier camps. Is it worth it? Mweh… I like the concession, and I like the vibe they’re going for, but it does feel at times to be a little contrived. If you’re looking for more of an explorer vibe, Lagoon Camp and Lebala located in the same region are probably a better bet.
