Situated in the heart of the Okavango delta, Tubu Tree Camp is a relaxed and traditional delta camp which offer spectacular game viewing and welcome home away from home experience. The camp belongs to the Jao Collection portfolio and is located on Hunda island, and consists of eight comfortable canvas tents, all with en-suite bathroom facilities and private decks. Tubu Tree has an extension enclave called Little Tubu, which is part of the same camp, but can be booked separately for smaller groups looking for privacy. Little Tubu has three comfortable tents as well as a separate dining area, lounge area, and pool. It is seperated from Tubu Tree bvy a stunning suspended bridge over a channel.
At Tubu Tree, the communal area includes an elevated bar and pool decks that look over a seasonal river. The view over the river in the late afternoon is beautiful, and nothing quite beats watching a group of hippos frolicking in the waters nearby while enjoying an evening gin and tonic.
The camp has a star bed situation some twenty minutes from the main area, and this provides guests with an amazing chance to view the wonder of the galaxy in all its splendour.
