Xigera camp is located in a remote corner of the Okavango and is surrounding by some of the lushest vegetation in the region. The camp consists of nine luxuriously decorated tents, built on raised platforms and including en-suite facilities. The tents are lavish and provide guests with some great comforts during their stay.
The communal area has a cozy lounge and eating area, as well as a great plunge pool for cooling off during the hottest hours of the day.
The camp has an extraordinary amount of wildlife, and game viewing opportunities are abundant through game drives and mokoro trips around the camp. The lodge is also widely known for its birdlife, and bird lovers are invited to enjoy some spectacular viewing opportunities. The Pel’s owl is often seen in the area as well as the wattled crane.
